Staff, faculty, postdocs, and students can get a free seasonal/H1N1 flu shots in the student health center while supplies last. The shots will be available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 1 to 2 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. only. If you are pregnant or have a preexisting medical condition, please bring written consent from your doctor to receive the flu shot. You must bring a valid Caltech ID.
Caltech's United Way Campaign for 2012 will run through November 18. Pledges may be made online at www.access.caltech.edu. Members of the community are encouraged to pledge to three Caltech agencies;the Caltech Y, the Children's Center at Caltech, and the Child Educational Center. This year's Benefits Fair will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, at Dabney Hall and Gardens. Members of the Caltech community will have the opportunity to meet representatives from the different benefits carriers.
