This year's annual benefits enrollment will be from October 26 to November 13.
Please come to the annual Benefits Fair on October 28 from 8:30am to 3:00pm to get your flu shot and learn about the 2016 benefit plans we are offering to help you stay physically and financially well.

Auditions for Performing and Visual Arts groups are coming soon!
Caltech Glee Club is non-auditioned, but the director would like to greet you and hear your voice for placement in the choir. Chamber Singers is an auditioned group with singers selected from the Glee Club membership.
No-fail auditions will be held at the Caltech Music House will be held Friday, September 25th at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 26th at 5:30 p.m.
Instrumental music auditions are friendly and low stress. Participating in a music group takes a maximum of three hours per week. Sign-up sheets will be posted in the Music House during the week prior to auditions.
All instrumental music auditions will be held at the Caltech Music House.
Concert Band and Jazz Band
Theater Arts (TACIT) is looking for directors, actors, writers and techs. PA040A (Directing/Acting/Writing) is a class that meets every Wednesday night from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Auditions will be held at TACIT house Wednesday, September 30th at 7:00 p.m.
Due to a change in location, Restorative Recess will be cancelled beginning September 11, 2015 and will resume on September 21, 2015. More information will available in the coming weeks.
The Caltech community is participating in a drive in support of the Foothill Unity Center to provide back-to-school supplies for children of qualified families.
Drop-off boxes are in Human Resources & Keith Spalding lobbies. Donations are accepted from June 15th thru July 22nd.
Suggested items are: New backpacks, 24-count crayons, single spiral notebooks, glue sticks, mechanical pencils, pencil sharpeners, 3-ring binders, filler paper (college & wide-ruled), calculators (regular & Scientific), 12' ruler, and blue and black ballpoint pens.
Please deposit your items in the drop-off boxes between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Caltech Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation invites children ages 5 to 13 to join us for our second annual All Sports Camp, June 8-12, 2015.
Camp will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. each day, with early arrival and extended care available.
The camp is open to all in the surrounding area.

Caltech Chinese Association (Caltech C) proudly presents the Caltech 2014 Moon Festival Gala on October 18, 5:30pm at Ramo Auditorium.
There will be a traditional Chinese buffet dinner, followed by live performances featuring Caltech students and distinguished performers from Southern California, and more. For more information and to RSVP, please go to our website.
The Red Cross Blood Drive will be held Monday, October 6 from 8:00am to 8:15pm and Tuesday, October 7 from 12:00pm to 6:15 p.m. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be parked by Winnett Quad.

Caltech's 2014-15 United Way Campaign will run from October 10 through November 17.
Our campaign will begin with our Annual Family Night Kickoff on Friday, October 10. We are very pleased to be able to offer this fun-filled evening for Caltech & JPL families. We will be serving a pasta dinner on Beckman Mall from 4:30pm to 5:45pm. We will be screening the movie "How to Train Your Dragon 2" in Beckman Auditorium at 6:00pm. The dinner does not require tickets. The movie requires wristbands for anyone over 2 years of age. Wristbands will be disributed on Beckman Mall during the dinner on a first-come, first-served basis.
On Wednesday, October 22, we will have a new event called "Contribution Café" where you can come to San Pasqual Walk and make your contribution in person by check or payrolll deduction from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Come to contribute and stay for ice cream!

The United Way 5K HomeWalk is on Saturday, November 15 in Exposition Park. You can run or walk or be a virtual walker. More information to follow...
Caltech's Benefits Fair and Flu Shot Clinic will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, in Dabney Hall and the Garden of the Associates.
